Manage Your Time And Money

Manage Time and Money Increase Productivity Reduce Stress

Manage Time increase productivity and Budget Money decrease stress. Most people will agree that time is money. What some fail to realize is that Time is more valuable than Money.  While you can always get more money, you can never get more time. When you are running an online business you need a lot of time and money.  To that end, you need to use your time wisely and Budget your money frugally.  Especially, if you are running your business by yourself...

Money needs to be budgeted for you to servive online. The following Tips will help you find time to “sharpen your ax“, decrease stress and achieve more in less time than you are currently spending, giving you time to relax and enjoy life.

Manage Time

Analyze how you use your time - Designate a period of time to monitor your daily activities.  During that period write down everything you do, create a chart using a format as if you worked for someone and you had to give an account of everything you do during the day.  Be brutally honest, record the activities you spend your time on every fifteen minutes.  At the end of the designated period review your chart and add up the time spent on each activity to identify what you spend the most of your time doing.  Determine what activities must be done by you and what can be designated. You will be surprised how much time is used on activities that do not produce results.

Identify the time wasters -  If you are an individual website owner, are you posting ads or are you tweaking your website most of the time or are you doing emails and answering the phones?  if doing emails is taking up a lot of time you might want to have two email addresses one for important mails and one for automatic responses. Do you have a specific plan of action or do you get distracted with unnecessary activities?

Take Action - Once you’ve decided what is taking up your time, choose the activities that will save the most time of all your activities. Then decide what activities really needs to be done and identify what can be solved with technology or through outsourcing and what effect would these changes would have on your business.  If you are running a one man business, you may feel as if there is no time for breaks. But the truth is, you could easily hire a few people to help take the stress off your shoulders. This not only helps your business grow, but it can give someone the work stability they need, as well as help you find time to relax and enjoy the life you have been given. There are many ways to find help with your one man business, and in the end, several people can profit from finding help that you need.

Take Time Out - There are only so many hours in the day to get everything done. If they are all spent  on work, you will be missing important time with your family and friends, while spending the little time you have by yourself trying to recuperate from overwork.  Many people who work too hard tend to have a lot of health issues, and some mental and emotional breakdowns. The people who have these problems are the ones who do not manage their time well and fail to take time for themselves to de-stress and relax. While working is important in life, it isn't everything. People need time to unwind, whether it's alone to read a book and have a glass of wine, or to take your loved ones out for a nice meal and tranquil vacation. Either way, you can truly benefit and even go back to work feeling better and having a clear mind. You can always make more money, but you can never get back the time you've spent making all the money you have. It is important to draw a line between work and play, to make sure there is an equal amount of both. "Develop A Healthy Obsession With Time"
